Invocation
Designed for use for the First Church in Boston. The opening Invocation is normally spoken in unison. Here it is sung during the chalice lighting with the following text:
Love is the spirit of this church
And service is its law
This is our great covenant
To dwell together in peace
To seek the truth in love
And to help one another.
